The Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce has been serving the Region’s businesses for
over 90 years. We are a non-profit (501-C-6) whose membership is comprised of hundreds of
business entities including retail, government, non-profit, and arts and cultural organizations.
The Damariscotta Region serves the following towns: Alna, Bremen, Bristol, Damariscotta,
Edgecomb, Jefferson, Monhegan Island, Newcastle, Nobleboro, South Bristol, Waldoboro,
Whitefield and Wiscasset. (Clicking on these towns takes you to the Our Communities page).
Locally: The chamber works with town managers from each of the towns in our region on initiatives that promote economic development including public restrooms, water, parking, health care and other issues.
Regionally: The chamber is also a member of Midcoast Chamber Council (MC3) which promotes the region with an information hotline, SeaLife! MidCoast Guide, a website, Facebook, Instagram, print ads, posters, information kiosks and displays.
Statewide: The chamber also works with the Governor’s office, the Maine Office of Tourism, CruiseMaine and other entities to promote the region.

- Networking opportunities including monthly “Business After Hours” hosted by members at their business locations, our Annual Meeting celebrating members’ achievements and spotlighting leaders across the region, and more options.
- Local TV opportunities for Business After Hours hosts and other Chamber members. LCTV, a local TV channel supporting Lincoln County will invite Chamber members to appear for a 30-minute slot monthly on Chamber Chat, allowing member BAH hosts the opportunity to share their history, product and service offerings, and path forward.
- Education Programs/ Learning Opportunities at discounted pricing! We provide members the opportunity to develop, train, and fine tune skills and knowledge in various forms of social media, technology, networking, customer service and other useful business practices. Many of the Lunch & Learns are free to members.
